visiting pop's parents. MY GRANDPARENTS!

it's been a while... i became so busy at school. mom and the rest went to arabia. almost 2 months we weren't able to see 'lolo' and 'lola' (my mom's side we call them 'tatay' and 'nanay'). i missed them. REALLY! at first look we are not that close, yeah... nevertheless, i still love them because they are such sweet and caring and thoughtful grandparents.

they live in a far barrio of angat, bulacan. if you want to get there without car, you have to ride the tricycle, then you go for a boat ride-the coolest part of all, then trike again. you can go there by car which lasts 30-40 minutes away from our house. the view? SIMPLE LIFE and GREEN FIELDS.

nothing much have changed.

GREEN is still all around.
the
SIMPLE LIFE is still there.
you can still, literally,
PLAY and LIE DOWN the roads without
because vehicles rarely pass by.
EVERYBODY knows each other.
EVERYTHING IS JUST PLAINLY SIMPLE.

i recall the time when i helped my lolo and lola to harvest peanuts. unforgettable! hahaha! sobra... i was a little kiddo back then. ooohhh. mainit na araw, puro suso (snail), nakasalakot (farmer's hat), medyo maputik. i can still remember it! the actual feeling of sweat on my skin and the smell of soil with snails. i am not exaggerating... this only means that a nice, happy memory is lingers forever. RIGHT? heehee!

i am just so proud my grandparents because they are FARMERS. the rice that we consume? it's from them! the fruits and vegetables that we it? it's from them! yeah, technically they are FROM GOD but my grandparents are the instruments of God.
I LOVE MY LOLO AND LOLA!
... and i missed them so much! :)
